The ACT® test is the nation’s most popular college entrance exam accepted and valued by all universities and colleges in the United States. The ACT is based on what students learn in high school and provides personalized information about their strengths for education and career planning. Here in Clark County, students are required to participate in the ACT during their Junior year in High School. This years test will be administered on February 27, 2018. All Juniors at East Tech are scheduled to take the exam on this day. All other students will not attend school on Tuesday, the 27th.
Juniors will need a photo ID with them to check in to their testing rooms. Students may also bring an approved calculator with them to the test. (please review the calculator policy) All other belongings should be left at home. Cell phones are not permitted in the testing room. Any student with a cell phone in the testing room will have their test invalidated. There is also no food or drink in the testing rooms. Students will be provided a short break during the test where they will be provided a snack.
We encourage all Juniors to get a good nights rest the night before and to come to school ready to Ace the ACT! Don't forget to wear your shirts!
