Students in the Education program will explore student learning and a variety of teaching experiences at both the Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten-through-secondary levels. An on-site Early Childhood Education laboratory pre-school affords students hands-on opportunities to teach lessons that incorporate art, music, and drama to make learning fun. In addition, students will work with a cooperating teacher at either the elementary or middle-school level where they will provide instruction utilizing lesson plans developed based on the most current educational research and technology. Students may earn college credit from Nevada colleges and universities.
