East Career and Technical Academy is accepting applications/interest forms for any parent or guardian who would like to serve on the School Organizational Team for the 23-24 school year. Please find some basic information below along with the link to the nomination/interest form.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL ORGANIZATIONAL TEAM?
- Provide input on the school performance plan and budget.
- Provide continued advice to the principal in carrying out the school plan.
- Assist with the selection of the next principal when there is a vacancy.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS OF TEAM MEMBERS?
- Begin attending training and meetings in October 2023.
- Serve on the team through September 30, 2024, unless your child no longer attends the school.
- Attend meetings at least once per month, outside of school hours.
- Make decisions with the whole school population in mind.
- Work collaboratively and attempt to reach consensus with the team.
- ECTA staff who have children attending ECTA are not eligible to participate on the team.
If you are interested in serving on ECTA's School Organizational Team as a parent, please fill out and submit this FORM before September 8, 2023. A ballot of nominees will be delivered for a vote through ParentLink on September 18, 2023 (voting will be open at 7 AM). East Career and Technical Academy está aceptando solicitudes/formularios de interés para cualquier padre o tutor que desee formar parte del Equipo de Organización Escolar para el año escolar 23-24. Encuentre información básica a continuación junto con el enlace al formulario de nominación/interés.
¿CUÁL ES EL PAPEL DEL EQUIPO ORGANIZATIVO ESCOLAR?
- Proporcionar información sobre el plan de desempeño escolar y el presupuesto.

¿CUÁLES SON LOS REQUISITOS DE LOS MIEMBROS DEL EQUIPO?

- Servir en el equipo hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2024, a menos que su hijo ya no asista a la escuela.
- Asistir a reuniones al menos una vez al mes, fuera del horario escolar.
- Tomar decisiones pensando en toda la población escolar.
- Trabajar colaborativamente e intentar llegar a consensos con el equipo.
- El personal de ECTA que tiene hijos que asisten a ECTA no es elegible para participar en el equipo.
Si está interesado en formar parte del equipo de organización escolar de ECTA como padre, complete y envíe este FORMULARIO antes del 8 de septiembre de 2023. Se entregará una boleta de los nominados para su votación a través de ParentLink el 18 de septiembre de 2023 (la votación estará abierta a las 7 de la mañana).
