The Clark County Water Reclamation District will begin a major construction project on Vegas Valley Drive. Work will begin on Monday, October 17, 2022, and through January 2023. Vegas Valley Drive will be closed from Cabana Drive to Tree Line Drive during this construction. Traffic will be diverted to the south on Desert Inn Road or the north on East Sahara Avenue.
We know this will cause traffic issues and delays, and we want you to be prepared. Please know that if you choose to use East Sahara Avenue as an option, you will encounter traffic from Las Vegas High School students as they start school at the same time as East Tech.
Please adjust your schedules to account for this detour, as it will take more time to get to school, especially next week, as we all get used to these new routes. We thank you for your patience during this construction project. The safety of our students is our utmost concern.
